Here is the new facebook plugin for WordPress developed by Facebook developers. If you install this plugin in your wordpress site, you can post the content from wordpress site to your facebook timeline page directly. The plugin automatically adds like, share, send buttons and comments box at the end each post, thus ensures maximum reach ability of your posts. For installing this plugin requires no need of programming knowledge, just follow this tutorials to integrate this facebook plugin in wordpress.
Step 1: Go to your WordPress Dashboard and find plugins ->Add new. Now search for facebook plugin in the search box and install and activate it.
Step 2: Now we must configure the plugin to enable Facebook for WordPress.
now click on configure the plugin to continue configuration.
Step 3: If you already have a Facebook app for this website, Please skip below two steps.
If you don’t have facebook app for this site, go to https://developers.facebook.com/apps and click the “Create New App” button. You’ll see a dialog like the one below. Fill valid app name, app namespace and check the check box and click “Continue”.
now following dialog box will ask your confirmation to create an heroku cloud hoisting account, so click on create button to proceed.
Step 4: Now copy app id, app secret and app namespace from the facebook app you just created now.
Step 5: Paste app id, app secret and app namespace in the following dialog box and click on save changes to continue.
Step 6: Now check all the check boxes to activate like button, share button, send button, comment box and etc… and click on save changes to finish.
